Is this form of education recognized in India?

The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) accords equivalence to school level examinations on the fulfilment of the school level examination and award of certificate by schools accredited by one of the six Regional Accrediting Agencies in the US, including Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges.

Does my child receive a high school diploma?

Your child will receive an accredited high school diploma when dual enrolled, through CLC Gurgaon and with our distance learning provider, Lighthouse Christian Academy (LCA), after meeting all LCA graduation requirements. LCA maintains official transcripts for each student enrolled. For more details on LCA and accreditation, please visit www.lcaed.com

If home schooling independently using Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum, the parent bears the responsibility of securing a diploma.

Can my child move to a regular CBSE school after studying in a school using the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) pattern?

Yes, they can as long as they can clear the entrance exam set by the school and meet the school’s admission requirements.

Can my child appear for Indian Board Exams?

Board exams like 10th and 12th class exams may also be taken as a private student in conjunction with the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum. The option is to use NIOS for Indian certification. This will be at the parent’s discretion.

Will Hindi be taught at CLC Gurgaon?

The local language (Hindi) will be taught as a language enhancing skill subject. This language can also be used to get a college credit under the foreign language category, if a student is interested.

What subjects can a student take to pursue The College Preparatory Course of Study?

Will my child be able to appear for various college entrance examinations? What colleges and universities have accepted graduates of the ACE program?

Graduates of the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) program are able to enrol in college. Many colleges require applicants to present results of a college entrance examination, the two most popular being the SAT and the ACT. ACT and SAT scores are indicators of potential for college work and are important determining factors in admissions decisions.
